System settings

The BMW M Power World website is offered in two versions: The video version contains moving pictures, music and videos which can be displayed using the browser extension Macromedia Flash. This version has been optimised for computers with at least a DSL internet connection. The basic version is identical in content to the video version but largely does without moving pictures, music and videos. It has been optimised for computers with modem and ISDN internet connections.

Recommended web browsers:
This website has been designed for the most common browsers. For optimum viewing, we recommend the current version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari, since browsers tend to respond differently depending on the version and make. You will find the links for free download of these browsers on the "Software downloads" page.

Resolution and colour depth:
This website has been optimised for a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels. You should set your computer to maximum colour depth otherwise it is not possible to guarantee optimum usability.

JavaScript and Java:
This website can only be displayed if you have activated JavaScript in your browser. In some sections (such as the Vehicle Configurator), Java must also be activated.

Cookies:
A cookie is a small text program stored on your hard drive by a website. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. In order to be able to provide content in a more individualised way, cookies are used in some sections of this website. The password-protected sections of this website are only accessible with activated cookies.
